The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John Gottman – Gottman writes in a way that helps the reader understand the elements of both good and bad marriages. He has practical – and doable – exercises for each section.
A Celebration of Sex: A Guide to Enjoying God’s Gift of Sexual Intimacy by Doug Rosenau – Having studied under Rosenau, I can affirm that he is the real deal. Celebration of Sex is a practical book that will help a couple grow their intimacy.

They received so many questions about what it meant and how to develop healthy boundaries that they wrote a book – in fact many books – about it.
StrengthsFinder 2.0 by Tom Rath – StrenghtsFinder 2.0 takes an in-depth look at strengths of the human psyche rather than pathologies. Includes an accesscode to an online assessment to find your top five strengths.
